Name and E-Mail fields

closed

Hey, I have a quiz with 10 questions. I want to have the name and E-mail field showed at the end oft the last page of the quiz. If I choose Form placement >>Before results the fields are shown after the first question. What can I change? Thank you!

Hi Kathrin,
can you send me a link to the quiz with this issue? I’ll take a look and get a solution for you

That quiz only has a single question so I’m unable to see the issue you are referring to – the form is showing at the end of the quiz and needs to be filled out before the user can see their results.

Maybe what you want is for the form and results to be on a “new page” so it does not appear with the question? If so, I have an interesting solution for you.

If you add a new question and A) Set the question type to “Question as title”, and B) enable Paginate for this question, then this will make it so that your first question is on a its own page, and then the form will be on its own page, and then once the form is filled, the user gets their results. The only thing to note is that the second question will still need to have a title, so perhaps you could name it something like “Fill out to get your results” or similar.

Thank you for this solution. Unfortunately it doesn`t function. And also I have created 10 questions. The 11th question is now to have the form on an extra page like you´ve suggested. Do you have a clue where the mistake might be? This is a screenshot of the backend.

OK, I think I figured it out!

You have WP Pagination enabled in your quiz settings. Please do not use this feature! The feature is located in the Quiz Settings, Advanced tab.

As the setting itself says:

The only benefit of this is for additional ad views. The downside is reduced compatibility of features. It is recommended to use the “paginate” option on each question instead.

Which in your case, completely breaks the ability to track question answers since you are creating literal new pages – meaning the information on which questions were answered on previous pages is lost.

Thank you very much, now I can see all the questions but the form is gone. I made a new page like you suggested and now the quiz ends like you can see in the screenshot. How can I have the form for name and E-Mail on this last page? I`ve extra bought the add-on to contact the users after making the quiz.

Thank you for your support. I`ve found another plugin which I can handle a little bit better. Do you have a money back service for this cases?
