ID name and email HD Form for HD Quiz

Hi,

I am using HDQuiz along with HDForm and HD Quiz – Save Results Pro.

 

I am unable to link the name and email ID created with HDForm; I can’t seem to locate them, and this may be why quiz takers aren’t receiving the email.

 

Also, I wanted to know:

– if it is possible to change the email sender (currently it shows as “WordPress”)…

– if it is possible to remove or hide the certificate button in the email received by users.

Hi Elena,
when you are editing the form, you can select any field to see the ID of that field.

For example, the above field has an id of hdf_email_64ta3a

What you need to do is take that field and paste it into the Save Results HDForms email ID setting. This way we know which field on your form should be treated as the email field.

As for changing the email sender name, on the addon settings page, select the Email tab. On here you can change the Sent From Name setting to update.

For certificates, it would be useful if you could tell me why you want to use certificates, but not let your users see them? If I understand the use case I can build in a setting for you in the next release of the addon.

Hi,
everything is clear regarding the ID form; it’s working now.
I do not want to use the certificate feature. As shown here:

, I haven’t enabled it, yet the button still appears in the email.
Also, in the email received by the user who takes the test, a “(1)” appears at the end of the question in the “correct” column; can this be removed? Look here:

Well, this is embarassing. You found a bug in my latest version. I must have somehow broken the check for this!

If certificates are not enabled, selecting View Certificate correctly returns the message that certification is not enabled, however the button should not be visible at all unless certificates are enabled – so whoops!

I’ve just published a fix for this. You can download the latest version from your account page.
