Data from HDForm not included in downloaded results CSV
Hi,
I use HDForms to collect an extra piece of data from users who leave their name and email address after completing the quiz.
When I export the quiz results table as a CSV file I can see the username and email address and all their answers, but not the information from the Custom Data column.
Ideally, I’d like to export Username, Email, Score and the Custom data… and not all the individual answers.

can you confirm that you are you using the latest version of the addon? The export is absolutely supposed to contain all of that data.
All form data is saved under Column F with the heading of Form Data in the export file.
You can update directly from your site’s plugins page, or get the latest download from your account page here.

Updating to version 1.6.5 helped and now I can see the data from the custom field in the CSV.
Let me go back an look at the Mailchimp integration – maybe that will work now I have the update.

I have set up the Mailchimp integration:
Mailchimp API Key – check
Audience ID – check
HDForms name ID – check
HDForms email ID – check
… but Mailchimp isn’t picking up any new users from my HDQ results.
Is there anything else I need to do? Does it require a webhook or an automation to be set up in Mailchimp?
That looks good to me!
Do you have “double opt-in” enabled? (I recommend leaving this enabled). This is a feature of MailChimp that will send your users an email with a link that they need to click on in order to “opt-in” to your list. So if you have this feature enabled, they will not be added to your list until they accept.

‘Double opt-in’ is enabled. However, I was using fake email addresses so I wouldn’t have received the confirmation message from Mailchimp.
Using my real email address, I received the quiz results as normal (see below) but I haven’t had a subscription confirmation email from Mailchimp.

Thanks for your help with the Mailchimp integration. It is working perfectly and pulls the name and the email of the user into my Audience.
Is there anyway to pull Custom Data items into Mailchip?
…for example Mailchip likes to get a First Name and a Last Name as well as an email address. I want to add the last quiz score and a number to schedule a reminder to retake the quiz.
