wrong and correct answer

Dear team thank you so much for providing me help and needed support.

I want a last changes in my HD quiz through styler.

observation:

when i click on the answer if it is wrong get a red dotted border and for correcr green border. ( i checked previous answer that says it is because of color blind people ) but i want to remove this

i do not want border around the wrong and correct answer, i want the intire text or options to highlighted in green and red.
please help me to remove the border.

or if possibe

add X for wrong and check mark for correct answer

Hi Shiv,
I obviously do not recommend removing the borders, but HD Quiz is yours to edit as you want!

You can add the following CSS to the Custom CSS section of the addon to remove the borders around marked answers.

.hdq_quiz .hdq_row {border: none !important;}

I’m also assuming that you want to “brighten” up the background colour as well. For that, you can also add the following CSS lines:

.hdq_correct, .hdq_correct_not_selected {background: rgba(0, 128, 0, 0.3) !important;}
.hdq_wrong {background: rgba(128, 0, 0, 0.3) !important;}

i did that in July 2025

but now this is not working.
actually it only marking red as selected answer. ( i tried checking unchecking the answer immediate toggle)

Hi Shiv,
nothing about the class names has changed, so your issue is caused by one of the following.

  1. You did not correctly add all the CSS as I provided it.
  2. Database corruption. If you edit a question, is one of the answers actually marked as correct?
  3. Corrupt cache. If using a caching solution (such as cloudflare, a caching plugin, or at your host) make sure to clear your cache so that it can rebuild.

Other than that, I cannot help further without being able to see a quiz on your site so I can take a look at how your styles are interacting with the rest of your site.
