hdq_quiz_wrapper

closed

I have your shortcode in a divi text module.

I think the hdq_quiz_wrapper is a fixed width and shortcode aligns center by default. I need to get your questions to the left so it aligns with stuff above it on the real page. I have never had to move something from a shortcode before and dont know how. It appears that wrapper is about 625px wide. I guess I can add some code to lock my row sizes. Any better suggestions?

I am not sure what I did, but it has resolved itself!

Is it easy to control the width of that wrapper?

Glad you got it sorted out! Since it “solved itself” my guess is that this was a cache issue.

Whenever making any changes to a site that involve design, it’s always a good idea to clear out any caches you have (browser, site, host, dns, anywhere else). If you are adding the CSS to the Custom CSS section of the addon, then the only caches you’d need to worry about are page cache and browser cache.

Also, HD Quiz is wrapped in a div with the class hdq_quiz_wrapper. This is done so that HD Quiz can better utilize the “cascading” part of CSS, as well as centring quizzes in their parent.

If for whatever reason, you want to stop it from being center, you can set the margin of hdq_quiz_wrapper to 0.

.hdq_quiz_wrapper {margin:0!important}
