the answers are not highlighted whether they are wrong or correct
HI,
the answers to the questions are not colored if they are wrong or correct, even if I have activated the respective options.
Thanks
Hi Elena,
looking at the provided quiz, I am seeing the questions being correctly marked with the visual borders around correct answers.
I see that you are using the Sitegrounds optimizer, which is your host’s page caching solution. So I’m guessing that you updated the quiz settings, but sitegrounds still had the older version cached.
In the future, whenever you make a change to your site, and you are not able to see the result of that change (regardless if the change is with HD Quiz, or any other plugin), I recommend clearing the siteground cache. This will allow that system to clear out the old versions of pages and rebuild them using your latest settings and content.
For siteground, if you are not already using a plugin to handle this, you can always log into your hosting account to do this directly from there. Here is the documentation page for siteground’s page caching: https://world.siteground.com/kb/clear-site-cache/
Hi,
I cleared the cache but I still don’t see the answers marked correct or incorrect for each question.
I also tried to visit the page with an incognito browser but nothing, I don’t see them.
I see the incorrect or correct answers only at the end, in the results summary, I need to see if the answer is correct or incorrect for each question.
Thanks
You enabled paginate after each question and are using the timer per question.
This combination switches to the next question immediately so that no time is wasted.
For your use, change the timer to be for the whole quiz so that we don’t have to immediately switch to the next question
I didn’t explain myself, I need that after the user answers a question, it must immediately be highlighted whether it is correct or wrong
That’s the thing — it IS immediately highlighting. The problem is that the combination of Paginate and the Timer per Question features, the question is also immediately hiding so that the next question can become available.
That is why my recommendation is to use the timer for the whole quiz instead of for the question. This way the “next” question doesn’t need to become immediately active, and the user can review their current answer and move to the next question when they are ready.
it’s clear now, thanks!
