Share Results

Im trying out the Share quiz option. When sharing to twitter it shows the results but when sharing to Facebook I just get a link to the quiz with not results.

What do I need to do to get that working?

Hi Asif,
unfortunately, the answer is it’s not currently possible. Facebook removed that functionality a couple of years ago. It is now impossible to share dynamic text to facebook using their share link.

I used to have this functionality in HD Quiz, but it required users to sign up as a “developer” with Facebook and create an APP (no coding required, just an annoying inconvenience for users). With the APP integration, we could share custom text, but Facebook removed that API too 🙁

Thanks, we’ll leave it to share, at least Twitter works, and facebook at least lets the link to the quiz be posted.
