“Paper” Version of a Quiz ? Export Quiz to PDF….?

closed

Hello once more..

There is still another point on the table for us…

We are training people for an exam with the quiz tool…they train with the original questions and answers from the exam.

For the REAL exam we need a paper / PDF Version from a random generated quiz from our database…

in the end the people get a multiple choice pen&paper test…

Is there any way to grab the generated quiz from the live site to use it as plain text? or a kind of print-topdf way?

of cause we also need like a “correction matrix” for the examiner…to check the paper test afterwards… like the correct-answer-matrix…

..we not yet really have a way to organise this…

..there is any hints from your side how i could organise this?

The browser itself has a native way to save as PDF, by using the browser’s print function. When printing a page, you can change the “printer” to save as PDF!

The problem is that it will also save the other things around the quiz as well such as your site navigation. To solve this, you could create a custom theme template. The custom template would not have your theme header or footer. This way it will look like a blank page with nothing but the quiz on it.

Hopfully this can get you pointed in the right direction
