Hello, in the fields select all that apply, I would like to set a limit, up to 3, is this possible?

Hi Pepon,
sorry, but HD Quiz does not force a maximum number of selections for the select all that apply question types.

My recommendation would be to either

A) Signify using the tooltip feature (or within the question title itself) that users should only make three selection. The intent of the Tooltip feature (can be found by editing a question and selecting the “Extra” tab) is to provide additional instructions or context to your users.

B) Translate the “Select all that apply:” text to add instructions that users should only make three selections. This text can be translated from the HD Quiz About / Options page.

C) Enable “Immediately mark answer as correct or incorrect”. With this enabled, users will get immediate feedback on if their selection is correct or not. So if your question has 3 correct answers and a user selects 4 – the question is immediately marked as incorrect.

Options A and B do not force a user to only make three selections, but they make it easy to add instructions for your users to follow.

If your question actually has three correct answers, then option C has the added benefit of only allowing the user to make three selections. This is because if the user makes the correct three selections, then the fourth will mark the question as incorrect.

Hope this all makes sense and is helpful!
