I’m getting ready to publish my first eBook and I’m considering creating an online workbook/practice exercises to go along with the book. My current thinking is that the book will be offered for free, but I also thinking about charging a very small amount for the workbook (maybe only $1). Does this plugin currently support any sort of eCommerce payment options?

HD Quiz is not an eCommerce platform and does not have any eCommerce capabilities built-in.
One thing you can do is create a paypal product link, and then use that link in the quiz results. Or you can install an eCommerce plugin and link to a product that way as well
