I freaking LOVE HD Quiz 2!!!
By the way I just wanna say I LOVE IT!!!! Just needs a few kinks ironed out and it feels so intuitive to set up!
It would be great if there could be an option to pick conversational forms layout though in the future. And weighting and point tallying. I’d definitely pay for that. Anything that makes it look even prettier design-wise as well. It’s nice now though.
Ditto will these work with the other additional tools like Stylist at some point?
Great! Glad you are enjoying the new version.
As I previously mentioned in your other thread, weighted answers is absolutely planned for the future. But what does “conversational forms layout” mean? I’m not sure I’ve heard of this before. If you can explain it and I think it’s a good fit for HD Quiz, I can add it to the todo list!
Also, yes; the styler and save results pro should be fully compatible with HD Quiz 2.0 now. Those addons are still “experimental” with 2.0, but in my own testing, everything is working smoothly 🙂
Hi
So ‘conversational forms layout’ is when you see just one question at a time, so you answer question 1, press submit, you then see question 2, until you reach the end. It takes up less space and it’s the preferred method for most people. This could be a nice add-on at an extra cost to have? For longer quizzes it’s pretty much essential 🙂
More advanced conversational forms have a progress bar above so they can see how many questions they’ve done or still have to do. It’s a nice to have thing but you can’t have this without the conversational forms layout first.
Hope this is clear? Again this could be an add-on at an extra cost?
I will get the Styler for now and test that first, I already use it on my other site, and it was really great.
I think the paginate feature is what you are looking for. It will hide the next questions until the user chooses to go to the next.
No progress bar right now, but it is something I’ve been thinking about adding.
