Hi there! I wanted to ping and ask about this error I got when I activated your main HD Quiz plugin:

https://www.screencast.com/t/odzAarU7

This happens when you try to go to the frontend of the website. The backend is just fine, I can get around there just fine. So I deactivated the plugin and the site came back up.

Thank you for your time!

Hi Suzanne,
this is the first time I’ve ever come across this error in HD Quiz. My instinct thinks that this may be an issue with the PHP version you are using.

If you are using the latest version of WordPress, can you please go to tools -> Site Health from the admin sidebar, then select the Info tab. From select Server, and let me know which version of PHP is listed.

Basically, the error you are seeing is because the native PHP function isset checks to make sure that a variable exists and has a value. However, you are getting the error because for whatever reason, your site thinks that the variable being checked is actually a function – which should be impossible!
