Hi,

I’ve created a quiz or questionnaire that has 20 questions; all of the questions have the answer options of 1, 2 and 3 (all are correct answers). At the end of the quiz, the user will get a total result between 20 and 60 (adding up all the answers). The person taking the questionnaire than can match this to the meaning. Result of 55-60 means…. Result of 50-54 means… Result of 40-49 means… etc.

I want to re-create my questionnaire on my WordPress page. I have two questions on HD Quiz.

  1. Is there a way to add answers that are number based or weighting for each answer. For example…..Questions is ‘How do you rate your business performance?’ Answer options are 1 – Below Expectations. 2 – Meets Expectations. 3 – Exceeds Expectations. At the end of the quiz I want the person taking the quiz/questionnaire to get a result which is a total of the numbers they used, or the weighting of the answer.

  2. Can the person taking the quiz/questionnaire get the result emailed to them? (I noticed that in an upcoming version a copy of the results can be emailed to Admin – which is the other half of this).

My apologies if it’s obvious functionality that I have missed.

Kind regards
Shrabean

Hi Shrabean,
sorry but there are no “weighted” questions at this time. The next version of HD Quiz (to be released any day now!) will have a new question type that is close to what you are asking for here though. It’s a “select all that apply” type. So if you have 4 answers and two of them are correct, then the user needs to correctly select the two correct answers in order for the question to award a point. Just note that even though the question has two correct answers, the question is still only worth a single point.

Also, per emailing results – yes! There will also be an option to send the results to the quiz taker in the Save Results Pro addon.
