I was just wondering how to check how many people actually taken respond to the quiz?

You can install the Save Results Light addon plugin from the HD Quiz addons page. It won’t give you a number on total completions, but it will allow you to see when users complete a quiz, which quiz was completed, the date and time, and what the score was.
