HD Quiz 2 – Results and Outcomes disappear if entered first/don’t save
TLDR; I already have new safeguards built in, specifically to help with this exact situation 🙂
With the traditional HD Quiz, it was pretty obvious that in order to save quiz settings, you’d need to… save. And if you didn’t save and started adding questions right away, it would be no big deal, as the questions don’t rely on quiz settings to work.
However, with the new Personality quizzes, you cannot really start adding questions until you have your desired outcomes made. This is why if you immediately begin creating questions without creating/saving the outcomes, you get a message, “Please edit your quiz settings to create your different outcomes before creating questions.”.
The problem with this is for cases like yours. What if you spend time creating the outcomes, then forget to save before adding a new question? This is why I also built in a check that looks to see if you’ve added any new outcomes and then try to add a new question without saving first. If I detect this behaviour, I send a confirmation window with a reminder to save, or to continue to the new question.

I entered 9 different outcomes for results.
Then I started doing a question. I then uploaded a photo for the question. Then I clicked on multiple choice – text, then photo, wasn’t sure what I wanted.
Then I saw a message saying ‘enter outcomes’.
It appeared that none of the outcomes had saved or they had been wiped when I was typing the first question.
If the outcomes need to be saved before doing the first question, the instructions need to be very clear.
