Functionality for HD Quiz 2
Hi Heather and thanks for giving the upcoming 2.0 a test.
HD Quiz was never compatible with “weighted answers” which is what you are requesting here, but the good news is that it is planned to add in the future.
Right now, with Personality type quizzes being a brand-new quiz type for the 2.0 release, I’m focused on simplicity of use and compatibility with existing features more than anything. Once it’s been out in the wild and is stable, I can start working on extending it with new features and quality of life improvements.
Outcome priority is from top-down. So in the case of a tie, whichever outcome you have at the top is the one that will be chosen.
From the Quiz Settings page:
In the event that multiple outcomes are possible (a tie), the first possible outcome will be the final result. Renaming an outcome is the same as creating a new one, so remember to edit your questions to set the correct answers after.
Also, even though it’s not weighted questions like you ask, a single answer CAN award a point to MULTIPLE outcomes, which at least gets you somewhat close to what you need 🙂

Hi Dylan!
I hope you’re well! I’m using HD Quiz 2 Beta and am curious about its capabilities for my specific use case.
I have a quiz designed to match users with one of 9 different personality types. Each personality type corresponds to a specific combination of answers (A, B, C, D). Here’s what I need:
The ability to allocate points to multiple personality types based on individual answers.
For example, Answer A to Question 1 might allocate 1 point to Personality Types 1, 2, and 3, while Answer B might allocate points to Types 3 and 4.
The personality type with the most points should be displayed as the result.
In case of a tie, I’d like to specify which result should take priority.
Does HD Quiz 2 currently support this functionality, or is this a feature that might be developed in the future? I’d greatly appreciate your guidance.
Thank you so much for your time and help!
Best regards,
Heather
