I see you are using some caching plugin “perfmatters”. Please try clearing the cache.

I have disabled Perfmatters (it is my staging site). But the problem is still there 🙁

Just to be clear, your quiz does have that question type in it, right? Are you able to edit that question?

The questions in backend plugin are all fine. I can see al options fine. And if i put back the 1.8 version of the plugin the problem vanish.
I do not know how fix the problem.

What I think is happening on your site is that the mapping function that translates data from the old version to the new is not working correctly for that question type.

I’m investing how this is happening and will get back to you with a solution asap.

Before I get into it though, when you edit one of those questions in the backend, what does it say the question type is? Is it correctly saying that the question is Text Based Answers, or is it defaulting the multiple choice?

You are right. All the questions are back to the “multiple-choice” type. How is this possible?

I have two solutions for you.

First, you can keep your same version and simply re-save the questions. Just make sure you change the needed ones to Text Based.

If you don’t want to do that, then the better news is that I think I found the bug causing this and have already pushed the fix to the repository. I didn’t increase the version number, though, since it’s not a good idea to force everyone to update to fix a bug that (hopefully) is only affecting you. So you’ll need to first deactivate and delete HD Quiz, then install fresh again to get the fixed version.

I will wait your plugin update next days and than i will update it again. On my live site i have 1.8 version so i’m not in a rush.

I updated the plugin and now I see “text_based” questions. There is another problem, though. In all questions I have a shortcode inserted in the “right answer” and “wrong answer” fields. Now the shortcodes do not solve anything anymore.
Also all questions have lost the “share_results” setting which was set to NO. Now all questions are on YES.

Enable “Replace the_content filter for quizzes” found on the Settings page for HD Quiz.

As for the text_based, this has already been fixed. Just reinstall HD Quiz to get the patch.

Sorry Dylan, but there is another big problem. The plugin show always the WRONG TEXT even if the quiz is correct.

I see you have your pass percentage set to 100%. Please lower it to 99% and let me know if that works. Also, please respond in a new thread, since this is an entirely different issue/request to anything else in this thread.
