My quiz has developed an error, and I can’t figure out why. I get this error on my page “HD QUIZ – WARNING: There is more than one quiz on this page. Due to the complexity of HD Quiz, only one quiz should on a page at a time.” There is only one quiz on the page, added with the shortcode widget in Elementor. There’s been no problems before. Removing/re-adding the quiz didn’t help, and I didn’t see anything wrong with any settings. I tried creating a new quiz, but that fix the issue either.

I believe that this is a new bug introduced by Elementor. I was first notified of this issue two days ago. You can see my thought process as well as a solution here:

Some quick things to try: 1) try adding the shortcode fresh on a new page. This way we bypass any broken elementor templates. If it works, then you can build up that new page instead. 2) Instead of using the Shortcode block, try using the content block and adding the shortcode there. If the bug is with their shortcode block, then this could bypass it as well.
Just futher debugging:
The quiz shows up twice only in Elementor’s editing mode and if the quiz widget isn’t selected for editing. Otherwise it doesn’t show even in code. Removing the Elementor template made the quiz work. Some update or something I did had just emptied out all the answers. Questions and all other setting we fine, answers were missing. I re-added those and everything works fine again.
