Make question necessary

Hello Support

I have set up a quiz with pagination. Now I have noticed that the user can click on continue, even without having submitted an answer.

Is it possible to set up the quiz to require an answer in order to click next and move on to the next question?

Many thanks for your help.

Greeting
Luke

Hi Luke,
just like an in-person quiz/test, if a user does not answer a question, that question is marked as incorrect.

However, a roundabout way to get the behaviour you are looking for is to abuse the Timer Per-question feature.

Since this feature requires the current question to be completed before moving onto the next, this can be used as a way to force users to answer all questions.

To enable, edit your quiz settings and enable Per question on the Timer tab. You can set it to a high number if you don’t want to really use the timer itself

If you are enjoying HD Quiz please leave a review here on the official WordPress.org page. HD Quiz is developed by me, just some dude, and is supported and available for free. It may seem dumb, but truly nothing makes me happier than knowing that people are using and loving HD Quiz and my hard work.
