Hi! I was wondering if it’s possible to copy an entire quiz. The reason I’m asking is that I want to create different versions of a certain quiz.

Example 1: I want to use the same questions, but one has four possible answers per question, whereas the other one has only two.

Example 2: I’d like to use the same questions + answers, but I’d like to implement one quiz with/one quiz without a timer.

I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance,
Frank

P.S. I absolutely LOVE this plug-in!

You sure can! HD Quiz was built using “posts” and “categories”, just like a blog. In our case, a question is a post and a quiz is a category. What this means is that the same question can belong to multiple quizzes at the same time.

First thing first, create a new quiz! Once created, you can do any of the following.

When editing a quiz, select the “Quizzes” tab to see a list of all of your quizzes and which of them the current question belongs to. But if you have a lot of questions, this might be… tedious to do one at a time. So I recommend using the “BULK MODIFY QUESTIONS” button found on the main HD Quiz page. This will take you to a native WordPress page that lists all of your questions. From here you can check each question you want to add to your new quiz. Then on the top of the table, select “bulk actions” and change it to “edit” then apply. This will open a new section where you can check off your new quiz and save.

If you are enjoying HD Quiz please leave a review here on the official WordPress.org page. HD Quiz is developed by me, just some dude, and is supported and available for free. It may seem dumb, but truly nothing makes me happier than knowing that people are using and loving HD Quiz and my hard work.
