Hi Dylan,

I’m working at the moment on a website where I have to place two quizzes on 1 page, but when I do this I get the following HD QUIZ – WARNING: There is more than one quiz on this page. Due to the complexity of HD Quiz, only one quiz should on a page at a time.

I have to do this more often due to the fact that it is for an education program. I also noticed that the lay-out is different, that when I fill-in one quiz he also looks and the second quiz and the total of the questions is not correct 11 instead of 5 (quiz 1: 5 questions & quiz 2: 6 questions)

Will this soon be resolved or is there a work around without putting the quizzes on two different pages.

Thanks in advance,
Jenny

Hi Jenny – that warning message comes from ME (it’s not like a technical error message or coming from WordPress or anything like that) letting you know that you cannot have more than one quiz on a single page and providing the reasoning on why this isn’t possible. Unfortunately, this is not something to be resolved and there is no workaround.

The best suggestion I have is to create two pages (one for each quiz), then link to these pages from your original page.

Thanks! I made indeed separate pages for each quiz now and it works fine.

I want to buy your addon: HD Quiz: Quiz Styler. But I was just wondering, if I place it on my staging site can I then also use it on the live-site?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jenny,
yup! During checkout you will be able to add two domains – your main domain that you are actually licensing, and a development domain name.

Great! And if I want to move it to another site let’s say within a year that is also possible?
I’m askin because of this sentence: a license to use the addon with a single website

Thanks

When you purchase, you will be able to provide two domain names. The “real” domain (the one that you plan to actually use HD Quiz on), and you also have the option to provide a “dev” domain (a domain where you are developing a site or using to test everything on).

If you provide a dev domain, then a temporary license will also be provided for the dev domain as well. This second license will auto-expire in 30 days.

I do not officially allow the transfer of licenses, but you can always contact me to request that I transfer your license to a new domain if it ever comes to that.

If you are enjoying HD Quiz please leave a review here on the official WordPress.org page. HD Quiz is developed by me, just some dude, and is supported and available for free. It may seem dumb, but truly nothing makes me happier than knowing that people are using and loving HD Quiz and my hard work.
