Hello Dylan!

Here comes the basic question from a not-so-experienced user (I did watch your video tutorial, though!):
I created my short quiz (10 questions) without an issue. But when I copy the shortcode into a block to display it on the website, everything is immediately displayed at once, starting with both the results, with no title. It doesn’t look like a quiz, but just like plain text. I used an HTML block, so that may be the issue. But I tried several other types of block, and I get either the same result, either it simply displays the piece of code. What am I doing wrong here? Any advice?
Thank you so much!
Marion

Hi Marion,
I don’t think that you are doing anything wrong.

IF you are using Gutenberg (WordPress’ default editor), then you can actually use the HD Quiz block to add a quiz instead of the shortcode. But if you are using some third-party editor (such as elementor, beaver builder etc), then the issue is probably that these editors are too “dumb” to render out the full quiz in the page editor. They are rendering out the HTML only and not adding the CSS or javascipt files.

But this is OK. It will only look “wrong” when in “edit” mode. If you publish and view the actual live page, it should look perfect

If you are enjoying HD Quiz please leave a review here on the official WordPress.org page. HD Quiz is developed by me, just some dude, and is supported and available for free. It may seem dumb, but truly nothing makes me happier than knowing that people are using and loving HD Quiz and my hard work.
