I created a sample text based quiz. How can I upload to my WP website? Thanks

Hi Rem,
I don’t think I understand your question. How did you create a quiz with HD Quiz if you’re not already using WordPress?

If you created a quiz in CSV format, you can use the CSV import tool.

Or if you are asking how to transfer a quiz made with HD Quiz to another WordPress site, then you can use WordPress’ native import/export tool (log into your site and go to Tools -> Export -> and select Questions)

Thanks for the reply.

I created the HD Quiz in the WP backend. Now I wish to bring the quiz to the actual WP site. How can I do that? Thanks

Ah, I think I understand now 🙂

The easiest way is to use something called a ShortCode. Shortcodes are small little text snippets commonly used by WordPress to represent something bigger. In our case, an HD Quiz shortcode will represent the full quiz.

If you select HD Quiz from your admin menu, you will see the main HD Quiz page that lists out all of your existing quizzes. When you select a quiz, the top of the page will contain something similar to Quiz Shortcode: HDquiz quiz = "xxx". If you click on the shortcode it will automatically copy to your clipboard so that you can then paste that shortcode onto any page or post.

You can also view the tutorial video for a visual example. At about the 5 minute mark you will see the information you need.

If you are enjoying HD Quiz please leave a review here on the official WordPress.org page. HD Quiz is developed by me, just some dude, and is supported and available for free. It may seem dumb, but truly nothing makes me happier than knowing that people are using and loving HD Quiz and my hard work.
