thanks for the suggestion. I’ll need to think on this a bit, but it should be possible.

Just curious though, why do you want to both stop users from retaking quizzes, and then also allow them to retake quizzes, just later?

If willing, I’d appreciate what your use case for this feature would be so I can get a better understanding of how this feature would be used by real users, and also get a better understanding of how people are using HD Quiz in general.

I want to to have registered users come to the site often and play a quiz pulling a certain amount questions from a large question pool . Using your leaderboard to keep track of a user’s cumulative score or if they passed the quiz and give rewards of some type to the leader or leaders . Basically a contest . I also want users to click ads on my site over time . If the user takes the quiz one day and is successful and knows that he can come back the next day and try again ,would give him a reason to return . Banning the user from playing forever after a certain amount of tries would result in losing that user from returning . But having a limit of tries over time would keep the user interested in competing for a reward . Having no limit on tries and having the user keep refreshing the page over and over would defeat that purpose . also I could keep track of user attempts with your paid plugin by getting an email when a quiz is attempted . Anyway , if necessary I would pay for a revision of this type . Thanks for answering my request and looking forward to using your plugins , RayS

Hi again , just checking in on any progress on my suggestion :Is it possible with short code or other way to make the time that a user can take the quiz again ( 24 hrs) instead of not at all . It would seem better to keep the user coming back to the website . RayS

I cannot guarantee any timeline for this feature request, but I can say that I think it’s a good idea and that I WILL be adding it at some point. I could try to add it in this weekend if I have time, or maybe sometime next month.

Have to play it by ear.
